Hey There

My name is Jordie, and I am the owner and founder of Fierce Fit Australia.

Women's boxing is a powerful expression of strength, determination and resilience. Here is my "Why' behind Fierce Fit....

My "Why"

My journey into combat sports started 4 years ago and it's been nothing short of transformative. But here's the thing, I quickly realised through fight gyms I was attending, there's a huge gap for women who want more than a typical box fit class or a space that's dominated by men. As someone who was stepping into a world of sparring & technique, I felt that too many spaces just weren't welcoming or built to support women who wanted to train hard and grow stronger.

I know the feeling of walking into a gym and feeling out of place - nervous about being judged either for my size or being the only girl, uncertain where I fit in and if people were going to take me seriously as a fighter. That's why I started Fierce Fit, I'm on a mission to create that exact space where women can train in combat sports, not only to get fit but to truly learn, grow and push past their limits - without fear of being judged or having to prove anything to anyone.

I've always beieved in thinking we become whoever would have saved and protected our younger selves. I think about all the times younger Jordie didn't feel strong or good enough (and was told she wasn't) or felt defeated (and wasn't consoled and was alone), or didn't have a voice (and was ignored or told to be quiet), then as an adult to find the strength mentally through this sport that I am enough, I always was, and there there was always a fiery passion out there waiting for me to uncover and every day is something worth fighting for.

"Fierce" isn't just a word, it's the way I've rebuilt myself. It's in the way I've learned to set boundaries and stand tall when my voice shakes. It's in the passion I pour into every goal, it's the way I've chosen to rewrite the narrative for younger me, proving that strength doesn't mean never failing - it means getting up, again and again when life chips away at the person you thought you were.

Fierce is how I LOVE, how I HUSTLE, and how I PROTECT my peace. It's not about perfection, it's about fighting for what matters and living unapologetically. Fierce isn't what I do - it's who I am.  And it's who YOU ARE TOO.
